So, Frank Black's excellent TEENAGER OF THE YEAR is ten years old today; I wanted to write a big thing (well, bigger) about it, about the individual tracks on the album, why SPEEDY MARIE may just be the best love song ever written, about everything that's happened between then and now, about friends lost and gone and aren't we all so much older and on and on.

Really, though, as I listen to it, I realize there's nothing I can say that would hold a candle to how much joy the record still gives me.

Anyway. Regular posting to resume soonishallistically-- lots to talk about, new pictures and content and all that good shit. In the meantime, dig up TEENAGER and give it a listen.
