I've written what will be half of X-Men Unlimited #9 this June. It's a Wolverine story that's drawn by-- holy crap-- Sam Freakin' Kieth. The second half is by Damon Hurd, author of the excellent My Uncle Jeff. His story is drawn by Mark Brooks, who does this hybrid manga-superhero-superpop kind of thing that's like Ramos, Otomo, and Immonen. Good times.

I did a Newsarama interview; this week's Tapes is about the experience and there'll be more, too.

Oh! Tom Spurgeon was gone for the last week, and managed somehow to post more in five days than I have in the last five weeks. One of the posts was an interview with me. I like Tom an awful lot, and giving an interview to someone like him was a new experience.

So, posting's been pretty anemic lately, but MK12 has been quite the attention-grabber as of late.

Through a... I can't quite talk about the project in detail yet, but we've been shooting what'll end up being the last Guided By Voices video.

And, and this is big, I'm on my way to NYC this morning. We're co-directing a video with Kanye West.

You know. Mister Kanye 3-Time Grammy Award Winner West? Yeah, that guy. Co-Directing a Common video, yo.

I was told I could blog pretty freely about it this next couple weeks-- so long as I don't post his phone number, the set location, or the budget-- but I'm not entirely certain that particular dictum will stand.

But, yeah. That'll do for now. Night job? Writin' comics. Day job? Guided By Voices and we're co-directing a video with Kanye West.

I'm so totally happy with my decision to stop delivering pizzas. Mostly.
