I forgot: the Movie of the Month packages we've done for AMC started airing yesterday. These are little animation bits that happen going in or coming out of commercial break that comment on the film: trivia, behind the scenes stuff, little detail-wonk bits, and all kinds of, uh, DVD-style extras sprinkled throughout the film.

We've been working on this a long time. A lonnnnng time. Like, after San Diego last year, I flew to New York for the pitch meeting-- and even then, the project had been percolating for months. That it's finally seeing air feels pretty dope.

This month is Apocalypse Now Redux; next month is Primary Colors. My favorite AN:R bit is a Duvall-flavored bump called THE SIP. It comes just after the Ride of the Valkries bit in the film.

This'll continue on at least through December.

The MK12 blog should be up and running by week's end-- I'll do my best to get that stuff posted, along with GO and all the other shit we've been working on for the last year.
