These Paul Gravett books -- Graphic Novels: Everything You Need to Know and Manga: 60 Years of Japanese Comics-- are they as good as they look?

Kel and I keep seeing them at the bookstore and feel like they'd be nice to have-- I assume the manga book would be more informative and instructive to us than the GN one, if only because, you know, English and stuff-- but they both look like great resources.

Thoughts, anyone?
