comments: Everything I needed to Learn About Comics I Learned from Arnold Drake 3

Once again thanks. I feel kind of ashamed that I had never read any of the original Doom Patrol. Now I will. Thanks for the posts and the site.

I think I love you.

Iron Lung panel#12...all I could think of was the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Doom Patrol just doing their civic duty.

Your comment regarding "pot head" having a different meaning back then, perhaps not.

I feel like I have missed out on some great thing all these years, like finally discovering chocolate milk as an adult or something.

Obviously, I've got some catching up to do. Gotta do it.

"The reason I wanted a man in a wheelchair is that I had been aware from almost the outset of comics that all the kids wanted to emulate the superheroes. They wanted to be the fastest or the strongest but there wasn’t anybody who wanted to be the smartest. I decided I want a superhero for the nerds of the world."

This is my favorite Arnold Drake quote.
